Please note: all information on this database has been provided by breeders/owners. Check with the ARI website to confirm registration numbers and lineage.

Welcome to the GrayAlpacaCentral.com
interactive PICTORIAL database.

If you know the alpaca you are looking for simply type that animal's name, ARI number, or the owner's farm name. Then click "search". A typed listing of that alpaca will appear. To get to the pictures click on the alpaca name.

If you are surprised to see an alpaca you own already listed, it is because it is related to an alpaca in the Database.  You can claim ownership by checking the appropriate box, "Add this alpaca to my herd" when you are viewing a particular alpaca.

If you are browsing simply click on "search". All of the alpacas in the database will appear listed by animal name, ARI number, and owner's farm. To make your search easier each of these identifiers may be placed in alphabetical (or numerical) order (A-Z or Z-A). Find an alpaca of interest, click on the alpaca icon at the far right and you will go to the pictures.

When you arrive at the pictures you will see a side view of your selected alpaca as well as a pictorial family tree of all related alpacas entered in the database.Click on "detail" and you will find more pictures ( both sides, head, feet, teeth) and text data on your selected alpaca.

Click on any picture and you may get a huge, very detailed picture (really detailed folks, I could easily see fingerprints on the breeder's hands in some pictures).

Finally, for those breeders who wish to add their alpacas to the database, click on "add your alpaca here" at the bottom of the page. The only stipulation is that the alpaca you enter should be gray itself or related to a gray alpaca.
